We love intensity at Beast Coast Barbell, but we love staying in the game even more. Smelling salts are a tool, not a crutch. To ensure you’re still hitting PRs five years from now, follow the Heavy Day Rule.

Don't use salts for every warm-up set. Save the "Smack" for your top sets, your RPE 9+ attempts, or your competition days. By reserving that stimulus for when it truly matters, you keep your nervous system sensitive to the boost and prevent "stimulant fatigue."

Train smart, lift heavy, and save the big hits for the big plates.
